Chapel Hill Kehillah Kashrut Guidelines

The Chapel Hill Kehillah (NC) requires all non-catered community events to be dairy or pareve. Meat may be served only when a professional caterer is used. The policy defines kosher, non-kosher, dairy, meat, fish, pareve, and chametz. Kitniot are not considered chametz for Passover. The guidelines were developed through a values-based decision-making process.
